Hoppe Titlist Label

Museums around the world exhibit various qualities of the art form being promoted. Major cities typically have the finest collections. Smaller, regional museums can also have fine collections but often feature regional artists and artisans.

The Cue Museum focuses on the most important cue makers of the 20th & 21st centuries. Attributes that qualify a cue maker's work to be exhibited here are quality construction, originality, influence, innovation, and aesthetically pleasing designs.

The label shown at right is that of a prototype Brunswick Willie Hoppe Titlist once owned by Ernie Presto, a notable 3-cushion billiard player. Presto was friendly with such famous players as Willie Hoppe and Willie Mosconi. Presto even offered pre-publication constructive criticizm to Mosconi about his 1948 book "Willie Mosconi on Pocket Billiards." (source- 3cushion.com bibliography)
