Cue Sticks of the 1920s-30s
|
During the 1920s and 1930s, billiards reached levels of popularity equal to top sports of today. People flocked to billiard halls during the Great Depression. As a result, two piece cue sticks increased in popularity. During this period, cue makers such as Herman Rambow and Harvey Martin came into prominence and today are known as the fathers of modern cue making. Cues in this period display vast differences in design and construction.
